Aaron Brown
Staff - Natural Horsemanship Trainer
Aaron is a retired Detective from the Kentucky State Police and a retired veteran from the US Army. He enjoys trail riding and working and training horses. When Aaron first came to the farm a few years ago, it was to watch his children take lessons. He was uncomfortable around horses to say the least. With the encouragement of his family he began to work with some of our horses have basic knowledge to help his children stay safe as they rode. He found solace and relaxation from his anxiety and depression from his former careers in a very special horse, a beautiful Grey mare named Shay. The two are now inseparable. He will tell you that he never wanted anything to do with horses but now he can't imagine life without them. He generously volunteers at the Center and encourages any veteran of law enforcement or the military to come and experience what he describes as a truly life saving interaction with these wonderful and loving animals.
