Rockin’ R Equitherapy Center, Inc. 501(c) 3

•MISSION STATEMENT: The Rockin’ R Equitherapy Center is a 501(c) 3 nonprofit equine center dedicated to two primary goals:

1.Provide no cost (free) physical, emotional and/or spiritual support equine therapies to anyone, of any age, race or sex that would benefit from the historical bond that forms between humans and horses in a safe, controlled environment with certified instructors. These may include grooming, handling, ground exercises and/or riding, and includes PTSD, anxiety, Wounded Warriors, and “at-risk” youth, in additional to behavioral and emotional traumas.

2.Continue to preserve and promote the rare and critically endangered Mountain Pleasure/Old Kentucky Saddler, Kentucky’s heritage horse, by incorporating them into the equitherapy center as lesson horses. Retired, aged or disabled horses will be utilized as well as younger animals, depending on the needs of the individual. 

100% of your donations go DIRECTLY to the program and allow us to purchase necessary equipment for therapeutic horsemanship and riding, and toward the health and welfare of the critically endangered Old Kentucky Saddler/Mountain Pleasure Horses used in the program. All staff are strictly VOLUNTEER, and take absolutely ZERO reimbursement for their service as well as the farm itself takes ZERO reimbursement for use of the facilities and arenas. Your support is truly appreciated and we THANK YOU for allowing us to give back, just a little, of what we have received from these beautiful creatures for so many generations.
